Advanced knowledge of automotive mechanics and preventive maintenance ( ASE certifications and general diesel knowledge a plus but not mandatory). Interacting positively and cooperating with co-workers, working as a team member, functioning under intense time pressure and responding in a positive manner to supervision is required.
The Fleet Services Mechanic may perform other related duties and tasks, as required and shall have the physical, mental and emotional abilities to perform the essential job duties of the position.
Perform shop maintenance
Maintain stock and inventory
Maintain spare units
Perform automotive maintenance and repair
Utilize diagnostic equipment
Perform emergency equipment repair and installation
Perform removal of equipment
Perform maintenance on other equipment
